Restoration
Poor finishes are almost always caused by poor preparation.

Restoration

We deal with a huge range of restoration projects including car chassis, WW2 militaria, marine parts and house and garden features. To achieve the best results, many restoration projects start with the removal of existing paint finishes, corrosion and/or rust to get back to bare metal. Shot blasting and blast cleaning achieves this and at the same time leaves a lightly keyed surface which is ideal for repainting or galvanising. Non painted areas can be masked up prior to blasting.

Shot blasting

This process is carried out in a walk-in blast room which is suitable for the larger  projects which we deal with as our operators are able to walk around the items and access difficult areas.

Blast cleaning

This is the same process but it is carried out on a smaller scale using a large blast cleaning cabinet and is suitable for smaller projects.

Repainting

We can apply a tough, stoved on, industrial powder coated finish to blasted bare metalwork surfaces with a choice of primer, colour and lacquer coats. Please refer to our Powder Coating page >>>.
